BANGOR AREA MIDDLE SCHOOL

Challenging Ourselves to Learn, to Act Responsibly, to Achieve Goals, and to Persevere

Students at BAMS have been busy.   Sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students showed us how well they can sing and perform.  Concerts began early in May and will continue for the next two weeks.  Please come join us for the performances. Thank you to all the members of chorus and band for their wonderful hard work.

Students at BAMS participate in events to give back to the community.   The annual Clean-up Day is quickly approaching.  The trout raised at BAMS will also be released in the coming weeks.  Thank you to all who have volunteered for both events to make them successful.

As we approach the end of the 18-19 school year, I look back on all the hard work staff, students, and parents have done to make this year a success.  We will continue to move forward pursuing academic growth.  Have a great summer!

Sincerely,

Sherry Holub, Ed. D.

Homework and communication

Bangor Middle School has moved to the website to display homework.  Teams will post homework on a daily basis.  Homework completion is an important part of the learning process.  Teachers limit homework to necessary practice and preparation for class material.  Please encourage your student to complete their assignments so he/she may fully participate in class activities.

Home Access Center

HAC is our computerized online grading and information system.  You can sign in and view your child’s grades as well as update demographic information.  Please take a moment and update the phone numbers, email addressed and emergency contacts on the Student Summary page. Parents will need a user name and password to access this information.  The user name can be obtained from our office.  Please understand you will need to present a photo ID to receive the information.  Please access the HAC from the link on the district website.
